THANKFUL HEART

Pessoal depois de um bom tempo estou de volta.
Peço desculpas pela demora e prometo que estarei atualizando mais vezes.
Gostaria de poder compartilhar com vocês algo que aconteceu hoje mesmo aqui em Honolulu, Hawaii.
Aqui nos EUA essa semana tem um dia muito especial para todos os americanos (ultima quinta-feira do mês de novembro) THANKSGIVING. As vezes chego a pensar que para eles é até mais importante que o Natal. Thanksgiving é um dia de ação de graças. Normalmente você passa o dia com a família comendo das mais deliciosas comidas e dando graças ao Senhor por tudo que Ele tem feito.
Infelizmente a realidade de muitos não é essa... poder ter uma mesa cheia de comidas deliciosas, com uma linda decoração, todos vestidos muito bem. A realidade para alguns é fome, pobreza, solidão. E isso acontece aqui também nos EUA.
Hoje eu tive a oportunidade de participar de um projeto maravilhoso. Com a união de algumas igrejas  da ilha que tem o coração missionário,  nós realizamos um trabalho de dar comida aos mendigos, oferecendo a eles um jantar de thanksgiving.
Confesso que nunca pensei que aqui teria tanto mendigo como eu vi hoje (estou dizendo pessoas esperando na fila 3 horas para poder comer). Meu coração saltava de alegria ao conversar com eles, conhecer as histórias de vidas, fotografar sonhos. E ao mesmo tempo lágrimas não paravam de cair de gratidão por todas as oportunidades que o Senhor me oferece.
Hoje posso dizer que sou grata a Deus pela vida de muitos que foram salvos. Grata pela vida de todos que foram curados e libertos, grata por poder ter um testemunho de vida que pode ser compartilhado, grata por poder ter mãos para ajudar, grata por poder de certa forma participar de histórias e sonhos que nasceram hoje no coração de muitos através de nossas orações.
A programação com muito louvor, adoração, dança, ministração mudou vidas.
Acho que o meu thanksgiving esse ano não poderia ser melhor!

PUSHING THE BOUNDARIES

Hello friends,


I know it's been long since my last post. But I was praying a lot about what to write here. And I would like to share everything that the Lord is doing in my heart. 
I am living in a time that the Lord is really teaching me how to push my boundaries, and always have in my mind that this is not enough I can do better. Some times its so easy to get comfortable in what we are doing, but believe me the Lord is so waiting for more.  Just want to encourage you, keep asking for Him. 


Jesus will push the boundaries you - and others - have set in your life. He will help you see Him differently, and through that, help you live life differently. He is not about to put your will and mind into a involuntary state of altered reality. He will only challenge the boundaries you have set in your life if you are willing to rethink who He is and to reshape what it means to follow. 
I have asked the Holy Spirit to show me aspects of living under His lordship, and I urge you to do the same. Why stop with one little insight, one tiny step in the journey? Only by giving everything to Jesus can we gain a fresh understanding of how to reset the boundaries in our lives. Allow Jesus, invite Him - indeed, dare to WANT Him - to be the strange, dangerous, unstoppable, unsettling, beautiful God - Man He is. Break out of your settled routine understanding of life. Refuse to limit Him to the way you have known Him in the past. There is more to Jesus than you understand or see.




Olá queridos amigos, 

Eu sei que não escrevo algo aqui por muito tempo. Mas estava orando sobre o que escrever aqui e eu gostaria de compartilhar com você o que o Senhor tem colocado no meu coração nesses ultimos meses.

Estou vivendo um tempo que o Senhor tem me ensinado muito sobre ultrapassar meus limites, e eu sempre tenho em mente que tudo isso ainda não é o bastante. As vezes é fácil nós nos sentirmos confortáveis no que fazemos e onde estamos, mas acredite que o Senhor tem esperado por mais. Gostaria de te encorajar e estar aberto e querer mais do Senhor.

Jesus irá empurrar os limites que você e outros colocou em sua própria vida. Ele irá te ajudar a ver Ele diferente, and atravez disso ajudar você a viver sua vida diferente. Ele não irá empurrar o seus desejos, seus planos e sua mente para um lugar de uma alterada realidade. Ele somente irá te desafiar os limites que você tem em sua vida se você está disposto a repensar em quem Ele é e também somente se você está disposto a remodelar o que você entende por SEGUIR.

Eu tenho sempre perguntado o Espírito Santo para me mostrar apectos de o que é viver uma vida sobre a liderança Dele e eu incito que você faça o mesmo. Por que parar com um pequeno sinal, um pequeno passo na jornada? Somente entregando tudo Jesus que nós podemos ganhar um novo entendimento de como restabelecer novos limites em nossas vidas. Permitir Jesus, convide Ele – desafie você mesmo a querer mais Dele – ser estranho, perigoso, invencível. Romper com o seu entendimento sedentário de uma rotina de vida. Há mais do Senhor do que você possa enteder ou ver. Recusa-se limitar o Senhor pelo o que você já conheceu no passado.

Eu venho estudado muito sobre o Sermão do Monte e gostaria de compartilhar isso com você.


As principais características da cultura do Reino de Deus são apresentadas em Mateus 6. Nós podemos encontrar lá que Jesus nos chamou para uma vida de dar e servir, oração, perdão, jejum, simplicidade e confiança, tudo vindo de um coração de AMOR. Gostaria de dizer que é importante nós entendermos que essas são características de UM assunto sobre o Reino de Deus. Isso tudo não é uma lista de o que fazer que podemos marcar se fazemos ou não. Nós devemos tentar aproximar desde estilo de vida sem querer um crachá religioso ou a glória do homem. Em vez disso nossa busca deve por um estilo de vida com um coração cheio de amor genuíno por Deus e pelo desejo de abençoar os outros.


Quando levamos em consideração as características do Reino, isso nos mostra que é óbvio que essas características não podem ser vividas sem a intervenção de Deus em nossas vidas. É contra nossa natureza de pecado servir alegremente e perdoar outros que fez algo errado conosco. Quando nós passamos por uma experiência íntima com o coração do Pai que nos ama extravagantemente, nossas motivações mudam. 
Deixa eu tentar ilustrar isso. Muitas vezes nós lemos a Bíblia e consideramos que é um peso e um desafio muito grande tentar seguir aquilo tudo. O mandamento de ser paciente que nós encontramos em 2 Timóteo 2:24 para a maioria de nós parece impossível de obedecer porque nós estamos dramaticamente tocados pelo desejo de satisfação imediata. Porém todo mandamento na Bíblia é um convite de Deus para nós. Ele está nos convidando a conhecer Ele pelas características que Ele está nos chamando a viver. Quando Deus nos convida a ser paciente, Ele está dizendo "Você sabe como eu sou paciente com você?" Quando damos conta que o Seu amor é paciente e Seu coração é longânimo, somos obrigados a ser paciente com os outros. 


Jesus usou a maioria de Seu tempo de pregação e ministração ensinando os conceitos que Ele introduziu no Sermão do Monte. Na Última Ceia, Jesus compartilha com seus discípulos as revelações mais queridas do coração Dele. Assim como muitos homens à beira da morte ele guardou as realidades mais importantes para o fim. Em três diferente momentos Ele enfatizou sobre o "novo mandamento" - "amar o próximo como Eu te amei". Quando eu penso nisso eu chego a uma conclusão que para vivermos realmente a cultura do Reino, nossos corações deve ser motivado por amor. Creio que Jesus estava dizendo, " Você pode ainda achar que meu Reino é uma lista religiosa de o que fazer mas é realmente sobre AMOR. Meu mandamento é que você saiba do meu amor de uma forma profunda quer irá te instruir a amar os outros".


Que Deus abençoe você que isso sirva de crescimento assim como tem sido para mim. 


I have been studying about the Sermon on the Mount and I would like to share this with you. 
The man characteristics of the culture of the Kingdom of God are explained in Matthew 6. There we find Jesus calls us to the lifestyle of giving and serving, prayer, forgiveness, fasting, simplicity and trust, all issuing from a heart of LOVE. I would like to say that it is important to understand that these are characteristics of ONE who is a subject of the Kingdom of God. They are not "to do list" of virtues that we check off. We must approach this lifestyle without the motive of receiving a religious badge or the praise of men. Instead, we must pursue this lifestyle from a heart of genuine love for God and the desire to generously and liberally bless others.


When we consider the characteristics of the Kingdom, it becomes obvious they can't be lived without God's intervening in our lives. It is against our sin nature to serve joyfully, give liberally and forgive others who have wronged us. When we experience intimacy with the heart of the Father who extravagantly loves us, our motivations begin to change.
Let me try to illustrate. Many times we read the Bible and consider to directives weighty and challenging. The command to be patient which we can find in 2 Timothy 2:24 seems impossible to obey to most of us who are dramatically in touch with our desire for instantaneous satisfaction. However, every command in the Scripture is an invitation from God to us. He is inviting us to know Him through the very characteristic He is calling us to live. When God instructs us to be patient, He is actually saying, "Do you know how patient I am with you?" When we realize that His love is exceedingly patient and His heart is longsuffering, we are compelled to be patient with each other. 


Jesus spent the majority of His three and a half year teaching ministry emphasizing the concepts that He introduced in the Sermon on the Mount. At the Last Supper, Jesus shared with the disciples the revelations that we the most dear to His heart. As many men near death would do, He had saved the most important realities to emphasize until the very end. He emphasized three different times His "new commandment" - "love one another as I have loved you". When I think about this I get to a conclusion that in order for us to actually live the culture of the Kingdom, our heart MUST be motivate by LOVE.
Essentially, Jesus was saying "You can still think think that my Kingdom is about keeping a religious to do list, but it's really about love. My commandment is that you know My love for you in such a deep way that it instructs and compels your heart to love one another"

Blurred lines

How can something that feels so right be so wrong?

I thought I knew where the line in the sand was drawn.  There was no question about it. I thought I had the answers and it was so clear...but the lines have become blurred. So many things which I thought I understood, I now have so many questions about. Right and wrong is no longer black and white. Love is no longer one dimensional, it is pleasure, it is pain and it is commitment. You have to be broken to be remade and you have to be hurt to learn how to forgive. Everything I have been taught and told my whole life...I now see differently. What is truth? What is opinion? I am discovering who I am, I am sick of being told who I SHOULD be! Truth is so rare to find, and I am so tired of lies. We are so easily influenced, we no longer search things out for our self. We are like brainwashed robots sometimes, we eat whatever is fed to us. Why are we satisfied with the ordinary, why don't we go after the extraordinary? When I stop for a moment and observe those around me I see how many of us are so lost and confused. We are all seeking answers, we are all searching for that thing to satisfy the emptiness in our soul. I am so tired of a religion, don't give me your opinion, don't give me tradition...give me JESUS! I don't want your watered down gospel.  I want the Jesus that saves, I want the Jesus who raises the dead, I want the Jesus who goes against the flow, I want the Jesus that remakes broken lives. I don't want your tamed, religious Jesus...don't give me your crap 'cause I don't want to hear it! Don't tell me that everything is black and white, 'cause it's not. Don't pretend to have all the answers and don't tell me how to live my life

What is truth and what is a lie?

Where are the lines not blurred?

The Vision is an army of young people

You see bones? I see an army

And they are free from materialism

They laugh at 9-5 little prisons

They could eat caviar on Monday and crusts on Tuesday

They wouldn't even notice

They know the meaning of the matrix; the way the west was won

They are mobile like the wind, they belong to the nations

They need no passport

People write their addresses in pencil, and wonder at their strange existence

They are free, yet they are slaves of the hurting, and dirty and dying

What is the Vision?

The Vision is holiness that hurts the eyes

It makes children laugh, and adults angry

It gave up the game of minimum integrity long ago, to reach for the stars

It scorns the good and strains for the best

It is dangerously pure

Light flickers from every secret motive

Every private conversation

It loves people away from their suicide Leaps, their Satan games

This is an army that would lay down it's life for the cause

A million times a day its soldiers choose to lose,

That they might one day win

the great well done of faithful sons and daughters

Such heroes are as radical on monday morning as on Sunday night

They don't need fame from names

Instead the grin quietly upwards

And here the crowds chanting again and again

"Come on!"

And this is the sound of the underground

The whisper of history in the making

Foundations shaking, Revolutionaries dreaming once again

Mystery is scheming in whispers

Conspiracy is breathing

This is the sound of the underground

And the army is disciplined

Young people who beat their bodies into submission

Every soldier would take a bullet for his comrade in arms

The tattoo on their back boast "for me to live is Christ, and to die is gain"

Sacrifice fuels the fire of victory in their upward eyes

Winners, Martyrs, who can stop them?

Can hormones hold them back?

Can failure succeed?

Can fear scare them, or death kill them?

And a generation prays like a dieing man with groans beyond talking

With warrior cries, sulphuric tears, and with great barrow loads of laughter.

Waiting

Watching

24-7-365

Whatever it takes they will give

Breaking the rules

Shaking mediocrity from it's cozy little hide;

Laying down their rights and their precious little wrongs

Laughing at labels, Fasting essentials

The advertisers cannot mold them

Hollywood cannot hold them

Peer pressure is powerless to shake their resolve at late night parties before the cockerel cries.

They are incredibly cool, dangerously attractive, on the inside

On the outside they hardly care

They wear costumes to communicate, and to celebrate

But never to hide

Would they surrender their image? Or their popularity

They would lay down their very lives

Swap seats with the man on death row, guilty as hell

A throne for an electric chair

With blood and sweat and many tears

With sleepless nights and fruitless days

They pray as if it all depends on God

And live as if it all depends on them

Their DNA chooses Jesus

He Breathes out they breath in

Their sub-conscience sings

They had a blood transfusion with Jesus

Their words make demons scream in shopping malls

Don't you hear them coming?

Herald the weirdos, summon the losers and the freaks

Here come the frightened and forgoten, with fire in their eyes

They walk tall and trees applaud, Skyscrapers bow, Mountains are dwarfed

By these children of another 

dimension

Their prayers summon the hounds of heaven and invoke the ancient dream of eden

It will come to pass

It will come easily

It will come soon

How do I know?

Because this is the longing of creation itself

The groaning of the spirit

The very dream of God

My tomorrow is His today

My distant hope is his 3D

And my feeble whispered faithless prayer

Invokes a thunderous, resounding, bone shaking "Amen!"

From Countless Angels, from heroes of the faith, from Christ himself

And He is the original dreamer

The ultimate winner

Guaranteed
